このホテルに2泊しました。1泊目は、豚しゃぶしゃぶの懐石定食をいただきました。
盛り付けも美しく、地元の名物料理の数々が絶品でした。朝食もセットメニューで、まさに「日本」らしい食事でした。
様々な料理を試す良い機会になりました。スタッフは料理の説明や食べ方など、とても親切で丁寧でした。素晴らしい体験でした。
海に面した畳の和室に宿泊し、プールと湾の素晴らしい景色を堪能しました。日の出の写真を撮るのにも最適でした。
屋外プールはシーズンオフでしたが、下のビーチで泳ぐことができました。温泉は内湯と露天風呂が素晴らしく、露天風呂からは湾の景色を眺めることができました。他のレビューにもあるように、リゾート自体は少し古さを感じますが、とても清潔で部屋も広々としています。ベッドは快適で、ヨガルーム、ランドリー、そして湾のパノラマビューを望む広々としたロビーも備わっています。アクティブな方にも、このエリアは楽しめることがたくさんあります。サイクリング、ハイキング、砂風呂に加え、知覧特攻平和会館（感動的な体験でした）と武家屋敷も見学できます。午後は大変混雑するので、午前中の砂風呂をお勧めします。8時30分にオープンします。ホテルからは午後3時30分から浴場へのシャトルバスが出ています。スタッフは皆とても親切で感じが良いので、ぜひ宿泊することをお勧めします。英語を話すスタッフも何人かいます。自転車やバイク用の安全な屋根付きエリアがありますので、スタッフにお尋ねください。

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. The first night we did the Kaiseki fixed meal with the pork shabu-shabu. The presentation was beautiful and a wonderful selection of regional specialties. It was a very “Japanese”meal as was the preset breakfast. This is a great introduction to trying different foods. The staff are very attentive and helpful about explaining the food and how to eat it. It was a wonderful experience. We had the Japanese-Tatami mat room facing the ocean with a great view over the pool and bay. Good for sunrise photos. The outdoor pool was closed for the season but you could swim at the beach below. The indoor and outdoor onsen were nice with the outdoor onsen having views of the bay. As other reviewers have said the resort is a little dated but it is very clean and rooms spacious. Comfortable beds, yoga room, laundry and spacious lobby with panoramic views of the bay. The area had a lot to offer if you are active. Cycling, hiking and sandbathing as well as a visit to the Chiran Peace Memorial (very moving experience)and Samurai residences. Recommend doing sand bath in morning as afternoons very crowded. Opens at 0830 hrs. Hotel has shuttle to baths starting at 3:30pm. I would recommend staying here because the staff are all so helpful and pleasant. English spoken well by several staff members. Safe covered area for bicycles and motorbikes-just ask staff.

ここは、リラックスして元気を取り戻すのに最適な温泉リゾートです。フロントデスクからレストラン、温泉エリアまで、すべてのスタッフが丁寧で親切でした。中国語を話せるスタッフもいました！館内は明るく快適で、オーシャンビューの座席も豊富に用意されており、温かい飲み物も冷たい飲み物も豊富に揃っています。
私は1泊2食付きの宿泊を選びましたが、3日間を通して食事はどれも素晴らしく、種類も豊富でした。
ホテルからは、有名な砂利温泉への無料シャトルバスも運行しています。
混雑を避けて温泉旅行を楽しみたい方におすすめです。

非常適合放空耍廢的溫泉渡假宅，每一位服務人員 櫃檯 餐飲 溫泉區域的人員都客氣有禮，也有華人服務人員喔。飯店的空間設計很明亮舒適，很多面海的座位，有多種冷熱飲提供。
我是選擇一泊二食的住宿，連住三天餐點依舊讓人驚艷有變化。
飯店還提供免費接駁車去著名的沙礫溫泉。

指宿ロイヤルホテル3回目の滞在 – 最高の家族旅行
今回で指宿ロイヤルホテルに3回目の滞在です。以前の家族旅行では、隣のいわさきホテルに宿泊しましたが、残念ながら現在は閉館しています。ロイヤルホテルは海辺の美しいロケーションにあり、開聞岳を横から眺める絶景は息を呑むほど美しいです。
施設は少し古さを感じますが、すべてが清潔で、スタッフの皆さんは大変親切で丁寧な対応をしてくださったので、本当に楽しい滞在になりました。広々とした客室と落ち着いた雰囲気は、海辺のリゾートの魅力を存分に感じられます。
露天風呂を含む温泉は、一日の終わりにリラックスするのにぴったりでした。朝食ビュッフェも素晴らしく、質の高さと種類が期待以上で、家族全員が大満足でした。
もう一つの嬉しい点は、ホテルの便利な立地です。徒歩10分圏内にダイエーショッピングモールがあり、地元の食材やお土産を簡単に購入できます。
早起きの方は、ホテル前のビーチを散歩することを強くお勧めします。まるで映画のワンシーンに迷い込んだような、穏やかで美しい一日の始まりです。
ご家族旅行を計画されているなら、このホテルを心からお勧めします。私たちは鹿児島からレンタカーで訪れましたが、JR指宿駅からの送迎サービスもあるようです。

Our Third Visit to Ibusuki Royal Hotel – A Perfect Family Getaway
This was our third stay at the Ibusuki Royal Hotel. On our previous family trips, we stayed next door at the Iwasaki Hotel, which is now unfortunately closed. The Royal Hotel is beautifully situated right by the seaside, offering stunning views of Mount Kaimon from the side — the scenery is simply breathtaking.
Although the facilities are a bit dated, everything is immaculately clean, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. The spacious guest rooms and relaxing atmosphere reflect the charm of a seaside resort.
The hot spring baths, including the open-air onsen, were the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet was also impressive — the quality and variety exceeded our expectations, and our whole family was delighted.
Another plus is the hotel’s convenient location — within a 10-minute walk you’ll find the Daiei Shopping Mall, where you can easily pick up local foods and souvenirs.
If you rise early, I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the beach in front of the hotel. It feels like stepping into a scene from a movie — a peaceful and beautiful start to the day.
If you’re planning a family trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We visited by rental car from Kagoshima, but it seems that a shuttle service from JR Ibusuki Station is also available.
A truly wonderful stay — we look forward to returning again!

昨日博多から到着し、ホテルにチェックインした後、砂風呂へ行った。
ロイヤルホテルは砂風呂施設への送迎サービスを提供しており、砂風呂を楽しんだ後、温泉に浸かりました。
砂風呂を体験しながらリラックスしたい方には、このホテルは最適です。
その後、ホテルまで歩いて戻りましたが、帰り道に飲食店は見当たりませんでした。
おそらく全ての飲食店は指宿駅周辺にあるのでしょう。2泊する予定なので、海に面したホテルの露天風呂でくつろぐつもりです。
眺めが素晴らしく、リラックスできます。
朝食は伝統的な和風で、とても美味しかったです。
（原文） We arrived from Hakata yesterday, after checking in to the hotel we went to the sand bath, Royal hotel provided shuttle service to the sand bath facility, we explored the sand bath and followed by soaking in the hot springs, than we took a walk back to the hotel, there are no restaurants on the way back to the hotel, I guess all the restaurants is around the Ibusuki station, since we are staying for two days, we will relax on the hotel outdoor hot springs that facing the sea, excellent view and relaxing.
If you want to relax and experience the sand bath this hotel is excellent.
The breakfast is traditional Japanese style than was delicious.
