What are the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in time is from 3：00 pm. Check-out time is at 10：00 am. For early arrival, we can keep your luggage at the front desk. You can also wait at the lobby until check-in time.

Can I access the internet?

Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms, 2nd floor lobby and other areas/facilities. We don’t offer any PC and tablet rental service.

Can you tell me the amenity items and furnishings in guest room?

All rooms are fully equipped with Yukata, face towels, bath towels, shampoo, body soap, toothbrush, shaver, air-conditioner, hair dryer, television, water heater/kettle, refrigerator (empty), safe box and telephone.
※More amenity items are equipped on ladies’ priority rooms.

Is there a shower in the guest rooms?

All rooms have bathroom equipped with a shower and bathtub. There is no hot spring bath in the guest room.

Where can I keep my valuables?

You can keep your valuables in the safe box equipped in your guest room. Or; if you like, we can also keep them at the front desk.

Can I smoke in the guest room?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms. Smoking area is located on 2nd floor, next to the main entrance door.

Is there any guest room for wheelchair user to freely stay?(Do you support barrier-free access?)

Unfortunately, we don’t have any special guest room for “person with disabilities”. However, they can move around normally in guest room as well as restaurant area. Also, there is a staircase at the entrance to the public hot bathroom/ open-air bath room. We have also prepared wheelchairs available for guests in need.

Do you offer room service?

Unfortunately, we do not offer room service. Breakfast is served at 1st floor restaurant. Normally, dinner is served at 1st floor restaurant or 3rd floor the banquet hall.

Could you tell me what kind of meal as for breakfast and dinner?

Breakfast is a Japanese-Western small plate buffet style which is served at the 1st floor restaurant. Restaurant is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Dinner is a Japanese style set meal (kaiseki), you can arrange for a reservation for your dinner to start from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Can I wear Yukata when going to the restaurant?

Yes, you can wear Yukata and slippers when moving inside the hotel. Please take your time to relax.

Is there any game corner?

We do not have a game corner in the hotel. However, Shogi and Mahjong are available for rental with additional fee.

Is there any vending machine?

Yes, there are two available vending machines located in the 2nd floor. Beers, juice and sodas are available for purchase.

Can I take a walk in the garden?

Yes, you can freely take a walk inside our hotel area and surroundings (approximate 20.000 square meters wide). You can also go down to the beach through the banana trail.

Is there any café or lounge?

Lounge is on the 2nd floor lobby. Welcome coffee is available to all guests staying in the hotel. Please take your time to relax while enjoying the spectacular ocean view.

What time does the souvenir shop open?

Our souvenir shop opens from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm located in the 2nd floor. Various local souvenir and sweets are available.

When is the public bath available?

There are large public bath/ open-air bath for men and women respectively. Bathing time is from 5:00 am to 9:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am. Feel free to use the amenities provided.

Are there any equipment such as hair dryer in the bathing room?

At the dressing room, equipment such as hair dryer and skincare amenities are available for your convenience. Women’s dressing room: DHC Olive Gold Series makeup remover, lotion, milky lotion, hair milk, face towel, dryer, cotton, cotton stick, comb, shower cap, razor, water server, tissue, baby bed, baby chair. Men’s dressing room: Hair liquid, hair tonic, aftershave lotion, face towel, dryer, comb, razor, shaving cream, cotton stick, water server, tissue.
※There are no provided bath towels in the public bath.

Please tell me about the hot spring.

Our hotel hot spring is Ibusuki Onsen which flows directly from hot spring source. Its quality is a chloride hot spring which has the content of meta-silicic acid and calcium ion is known to be as top level in the whole country. It is called the hot spring water for beautiful skin. Please enjoy the hot springs and the slowly changing scenery as much as you can.

Is there a parking lot?

Yes, there is a parking lot available for guests staying at our hotel. Bus and camping cars are welcome. Guests who come by bicycle/motorbike can park their vehicle near the entrance door. (please follow our staff instruction due to limited parking space)

The access to the hotel (for car)

First, go down at Taniyama IC, head south from Route 226 about 40 kilometers; next, pass the crossroad named "Kokuritsu Byoin Mae"; then, you will see a convenience store called "Lawson" and a large supermarket called "Nishimuta" on your left side. After that, turn left and go straight, you will see "Ibusuki medical center" on the right; and on the left, you can find the signboard of Ibusuki Royal Hotel. You just need to turn left and you will reach the entrance of the hotel.

The access to the hotel (for public transportation)

Air plane: There are airport buses from Kagoshima Airport to Ibusuki JR station.
JR: From Kagoshima Chuo Station, you need to get on a train (Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line) that heads to Ibusuki JR station. And from there, you can call a taxi to the hotel. It would take around 5-6 mins and will cost you about ￥1200.

Can I stay with my children?

Yes! It will be our pleasure to welcome your family to stay here in our hotel. Unfortunately, we do not have available baby strollers for rental; however, we have available baby baskets.

Elementary school student: same meals as adult + bedding: equivalent for 1 adult fee.
Elementary school student: children’s meals + bedding: 70% of adult price.
3-6 years old children:
*children’s meals (breakfast included) + bedding: ￥6050 (tax included)
*children’s meals (breakfast included) + no bedding: ￥3850 (tax included)
*bedding only: ￥2000 (tax included)
*no meal + no bedding: ￥990 (tax included)
Small children under 2 years old are welcome with no additional fee.
※Yukata and other amenity items are not included for 3-6 years old children. If needed, call the front desk which will include on additional fees.

Are there bicycle available for rental?

Yes, we have available bicycles for rental. It is called Iburin, a bicycle run by electric assist. It can also be rented from the Ibusuki station. It costs ￥600 for 2 hours.

Is there any massage service?

Unfortunately, to comply with the prevention of coronavirus; as of the moment, we do not offer massage service. However, we have available massage chairs that costs ￥200 for 10 minutes.

What are the available services in your hotel?

There is a yoga room available at the 2nd floor which you can use freely. We also have a massage chair that you can use anytime. If you want to enjoy the sound of the waves, you can also go down to the beach.

Please tell me about how to make payment in case of early departure.

Night shift security staff are in charge from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. If you would like to check-out earlier than 6:30 am, please come to the front desk and make your payment before 10:00 pm.

Can I use credit card for payment?

Yes, various credit cards such as VISA, JCB are accepted.

Where can I withdraw the money (from cash card)?

There are ATMs in Lawson convenience store and Supercenter Nishimuta. No ATM available inside the hotel.

Can you keep the luggage for me?

Of course, we can help you to keep your luggage before check-in or even after check-out. Also, there is a service (with fee) to carry your luggage to JR Ibusuki station tourist information office.

Can I bring in food and drinks?

Please refrain from bringing any food or drinks to restaurant or banquet hall. However, you can bring in your room as you please.

Do you have a hot sand bath inside the hotel?

There is no hot sand bath facility inside the hotel. However, we provide a shuttle bus to and fro the Saraku Hall. It would usually take 5 minutes. No reservation needed, you can go there wearing Yukata and slippers. The bus will not be available during Saraku Hall’s holiday.
